Summer Programs

Old-Fashioned Lifestyle for Modern-Day Kids!

1-Day Summer camp
Monday to Friday, from June 28 to August 20, 2010

The Village Historique Acadien offers children between 7 and 12 years of age the opportunity to spend a day in a 1860s house and experience how people lived back then. Dressed in clothing made of linen, drugget and cotton, and wearing moccasins on their feet, they will enjoy Acadian cooking and have the chance to learn to card, spin, and weave wool, make shingles and do carpentry work with antique tools, print texts as in the old days, and go on nature walks, all fully supervised by two staff members. In short, the Village Historique Acadien will take you back in time for a day filled with activities.

Reservation: (506) 726-2600 / 1 877-721-2200
