New at the Village!
In addition to its breakfast service Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Café-Bistro team now offers Weekend Brunches from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with an enhanced menu and few surprises!
Craving breakfast poutine, spaghetti pancakes, or baked beans with a warm biscuit? Need a delicious latte or an espresso made with beans from Munroe Roasters? Head straight to the Village Café-Bistro!
Today, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., come say hello to the four members of the Les Cabinettes collective, who are artists-in-residence at the Village historique acadien train station!
As part of their residency, ÉliZabeth Bosquet, Marika Karlsson, Camille Mila Banville and Mélina Kerhoas are tasked with creating a series of custom-made cabinettes inspired by local Acadian legends. This project aims to showcase Acadian oral heritage through a contemporary approach to puppetry and street theatre.
Would you like to learn more about the cabinettes’ creative process, or perhaps even take part in creating one? → Visit the Village train station between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on July 29 and 31, as well as August 2!
A big thank you to Théâtre populaire d’Acadie, a partner of the Village historique acadien, for welcoming Les Cabinettes to the historic site!
