This Thursday, August 13th, starting at 11 a.m., the Robichaud family invites you to attend their milling bee!

Well-known in the 19th century, le milling bee was a job that normally took place during de long fall and winter evenings. Pieces of homespun cloth were milled (shrunk) to make thicker. Warm and durable clothing could then be made of this cloth without the risk of shrinking in the wash. 

According to custom, the entire village took part in the frolic.
