During this tour, you will witness the evolution of the traditional Acadian diet from 1770 to 1950 by visiting the kitchens and gardens of various historic homes and tasting dishes and ingredients essential to the diet of Acadian ancestors.
Tastings, anecdotes, and learning are on the menu for this themed tour, which will conclude with a traditional Acadian chicken fricot (stew) lunch served at the Village Café-Bistro (Visitors Centre).
